Hello!  I am back to share more Ava layouts....getting so close.  I scrapped most of these layouts over a month ago, just now taking the time to update my blog.  I have more to share but didn't want to overload this post, I will share the others later.
Scrapped 2-5-16 from photos takes in December 2012.

Scrapped 2-5-2016 with photos from July 2013.

Scrapped 2-6-2016, photos taken June 2013.

Scrapped 2-20-2016 from photos taken in May 2015.

Scrapped 2-20-2016 with photos from August 2013.

Scrapped 3-14-16 with these adorable photos from January 2013.

Scrapped 3-15-2016, photos from February 2013.

I love scrapping for Ava and sincerely hope to get caught up.  I know that most scrapper's say that you never catch up......but, I would love to at least be closer and maybe only be a few months behind. Ava and I had a fun day today with pedicures and manicures....she doesn't get a complete mani and pedi but loves going along.  We went out to lunch after being pampered....so fun and wonderful memories.  I feel very blessed that Grandpa and I live so close and get to see our family daily.

Wishing all a wonderful weekend.

I love being able to have time to scrap some of my favorite photos of Ava and our family.  I am making great strides in reaching my goal for 2016 to scrap more layouts than I scrapped in 2015.....yay!  Although I am only sharing four layouts today, I do have several more to share as soon as I take photos.

The photos in this layout were taken at a wedding we attended in December 2012.  My son-in-law, Heath, was a groomsman and Ava enjoyed dancing with her daddy.

Ava, mommy, and daddy constructing their gingerbread house on Christmas day 2012.  As usual, I still need to add journaling and a date.

I used a Basic Grey kit for our silly Christmas photos!  I loved the kit and decided to print the photos in black and white since the paper has nothing to do with Christmas.  Love how it turned out!

Love the photos on this layout and wanted something very simple that would not take away from the photos.

Wishing all a blessed day!

Wow!  Time seems to be flying by way too fast!  It has almost been a month since I posted last....I had good intentions of blogging sooner, but I stay busy taking care of Grayson during the day and am too tired in the evening to blog very often.  It seems like such a long time since I scrapped some of these layouts for Ava's 2012 album.  I am a slow scrapper but so far in 2016 I have scrapped more layouts than I scrapped in January of 2015.  My plans for 2016 is to surpass my 2015 total!

Happy New Year!  Wishing all a blessed 2016, may the year bring peace and happiness.  I am starting out the year playing catchup as far as posting layouts to my blog.  The first four layouts I am sharing were scrapped in November.  I am getting closer to finishing layouts for 2012 to add to Ava's albums....hope to finish 2012 before she turns 6 in February.

The first layout I am sharing is of my son in laws birthday.  I used mostly K&Company patterned paper with a few other scraps added for color.  I am trying to use supplies from my stash before I buy anything new.  This collection is a birthday theme which I have used several times....love the large numbers for the background.

The second and third layouts were scrapped using some of my favorite paper from my stash of Basic Grey stacks.  I seem to go back to them often and love the results.
I love how this layout turned out!  Ava was so very happy to have moved into a new house with her mommy and daddy and willingly let me take these photos!  She is a sweetheart and has blessed our family in so many ways, more than she will ever know.  The background paper is Basic Grey with a little Paper Studio, MM, and miscellaneous paper added.  I fussy cuts most of the hearts and then added Heidi Swapp hearts, and a miscellaneous stamp.

This past year I attended a monthly Basic Grey class at the LSS and finished the last two layouts using paper from one of the classes.  I scrapped both layouts back in February 2015.  I love scrapping for Ava and adore how these layouts turned out.

Wishing all a blessed New Year!

Hello friends!  Wishing everyone a good weekend....praying that all is well with you and your family.  It has been a while since I updated my blog, needing you share more of my layouts of Ava since I have more waiting.

Life sometimes get busy for all of us and we seem to forget to take time for ourselves...taking a little me time this morning to update my blog.  Most of the layouts that I am sharing today were scrapped using scraps from other projects, mostly Basic Grey and My Mind's Eye.

Ava looks so little in these photos!  I guess she should, they were taken three years ago....times goes too fast.

Two more layouts from 2012.....getting closer!
I scrapped the last two layouts at a scrap retreat in September with friends.  Love being able to get away for a few days to share ideas, visit, and relax.  The best part is the fact that the retreat is only 5 minutes from my home.  I can stay as long as I want and sleep in my own bed at night.  The ladies from the LSS that sponsor the retreat are so much fun to be around, also very entertaining and creative.

Thank you for visiting my blog.....will be sharing more layouts soon.  God Bless.

Zoo Time

I am sharing two more 2 page layouts of Ava....getting closer to finishing her layouts for 2012 and 2013!  Too many things seem to get in the way of my scrap time.  No, I am not making excuses, just telling it like it is.

I scrapped this layout with paper from a Creating Keepsakes Convention years ago in Kansas City.  The photos are from 9-1-2012.   Since Ava started Kindergarten in August, which she was very excited about, makes these photos seem very old.  Time to get busy scrapping before she is ready to graduate from high school.

The second was scrapped with paper from three of my Basic Grey stacks.  I seem to use them often, love the colors and design. As usual, I need to journal, but that will come later.
My next layout was scrapped in February using paper from a Basic Grey class at my LSS.  I loved taking the class and meeting new scrappers, but usually came home and finish the layouts different from the original sketch.  Love how this one turned out, the paper & elements were perfect for my photos.
My last layout for today was also scrapped in February using a sketch from Scrapbook Generation's January 2015 Create magazine.  I had fun with the sketch using mostly left over scraps from my Basic Grey class.  I really like the access of the online magazine, the talented Design Team and other scrappers that are featured each month.  Great job ladies!

Wishing all a super weekend.  God Bless.

Happy Monday!

Wishing all a very happy Monday!  I finished another Ava layout today and want to share it before leaving on vacation early tomorrow morning.
The photos were taken in July of 2012 at the annual Glow Run 5K to raise money for local organizations.  I decided to scrap this event with as much color as possible since color is the main theme for the fundraiser.

I was in such a hurry to finish the layout that I didn't realize until after taking my photo that I need to add a title, journaling, and date.  I quickly added a title and date and will add journaling later....the one thing I dislike the most about scrapping.
My second layout is of Ava, Raegen, and Rachelle painting their nails before attending the Glow Run.  Ava loves having her nails painted, insisting that each nail is painted a different color.

The first two layouts were scrapped using mostly Basic Grey paper and elements from kits that need to used....love the colors.
I am also sharing a layout that I scrapped in January and have not posted until now.  I am trying to get caught up before Raegen heads back to school.....yikes!

I still need to share what all has happened since the first of the year and will later....many changes in our lives.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  God Bless
